The one time we leave the house to get dinner
So yesterday my mom didn’t feel like making any dinner and we decided we would go out and buy food and bring it back home. Me and my dad wanted KFC because of its amazingly unhealthy goodness, but my brother of course wanted pizza from Round Table. So my mom decided to just get both. My dad was going to go out to pick up the food, but he wanted to someone to help him out to carry the food into the car and everything. Neither me nor my brother wanted to leave the house, so my dad told us to play rock paper scissors to decide.
Whoever won didn’t need to go with my dad…and sadly I lost. So first, we go to Blockbuster and we get two movies, Descpicable Me (suuuuch a great movie) and Salt (which im going to watch right after I finish this post). After we picked up the movies, we went to go pick up the pizzas. We tell the lady our home phone number our address and everything to confirm our order, and the lady was like “Oh, somebody else already picked up your order, it was a lady…are you sure nobody else from your family came and took your pizza?” My dad was so mad because he thought my mom had payed over the phone..and that we payed for a pizza that we didnt even get. The lady was like, “I understand your frustration, but I can make you another chicken gourmet pizza and it will take 15-20 minutes”. My dad did not want to wait another “freaking 20 minutes for another damn pizza” (in his words). My dad demanded the lady deliver it to us for free, and he stormed back into the car. We went to go pick up the food we ordered from KFC, and drove back to the pizza place. My dad told me to go inside because he didn’t want to go back in there and get mad again. So I go and ask her if the pizza was ready and she said that it’ll take another 5 minutes. So i decided to just wait there. When it was done, she told me that she would also give me the extra large pizza that the lady that stole our pizza originally ordered to make up for the mistake. I go back into the car, and I open the extra large pizza (the one the pizza stealer ordered) and it turned out to be pepperoni (which me and my family can’t eat).
So we ended up with this huge burden that we couldn’t eat. My dad ssuggested to give it to someone on the street or something but he decided that he himself would never take a pizza from a random guy because he’d think it was probably poisonous or something. We decided to give it to our cleaner thta was coming the next day, and it all worked out fine in the end…off to go watch the movie Salt now bye!
